the rental process can be a very stressful one, or the opposite. the result is usually in relation to the choice of agent used to move you into your new home. at mi homes, we take great care in ensuring that the level of customer service is paramount at every step of the process to ensure a smooth and stress free move in for our tenants. don’t just take our word for it though.
at mi homes, we always ensure that our property offering is always of quality. we mainly specialise in new and modern homes so that when people visit our website, or enquire to see what we have on offer, they will be confident that whatever we do have, will be exciting options for them.
once you have found the right property, we will schedule in an accompanied viewing at a time and date that is convenient, but with enough urgency to ensure you avoid potential disappointment.
if you would like to proceed with putting in an offer for one of our listings, we would then take a holding deposit (which is refundable if the landlord rejects your offer) and issue you with a holding deposit form to sign electronically which will reflect your intentions to proceed with renting the property. once we are in receipt of both of these, we will then put your offer forward to the landlord.
the exciting part – your offer being accepted! once we are at this stage, we will email a reference form for you to fill in online and submit electronically.
we will then ask you for the following information and documentation:
this is when we will contact you to congratulate you on the good news that your referencing has been deemed acceptable! once this stage has been confirmed, we will issue you and all relevant parties with a tenancy agreement to sign electronically and email you all of the relative documentation needed for your reference prior to the start of your tenancy. we will also issue you with a tenant statement for outstanding funds which we expect to be paid within 24 hours of acceptable reference reports (unless agreed otherwise). additionally, we will handle any questions you have at this stage and ask for proof of standing order to be emailed over to us for rental payment purposes.
finally, we will organise a time to hand keys over at our office or the property itself and wish you all the best and thank you for choosing to move with mi homes!
within the final two months of your tenancy, we will contact you and your landlord to find out if you wish to renew your tenancy so that all of your renewal paperwork is completed accordingly. if you don’t wish to renew your tenancy, depending on if we are the managing agents, we will then arrange for a check out inspection on your last day and deal with your deposit release.
